YCRI LEADERSHIP FRAMEWORK

A research informed framework focused on communication, empathy, civic voice, and leadership development.

About This Program

The Youth Communication Readiness Index (YCRI) is a research-informed framework focused on helping students strengthen communication, empathy, leadership, and civic engagement skills. Developed to explore how young people build confidence and ethical communication abilities in an AI-driven world, the framework combines structured learning experiences with measurable personal development outcomes.

A Research-Driven Approach

YCRI goes beyond traditional leadership programs by combining workshops, reflection activities, collaboration, and communication assessments into a cohesive learning model. The framework examines how students develop confidence over time while encouraging thoughtful discussion, ethical persuasion, teamwork, and real-world problem solving. Students are not only learning communication skills—they are actively practicing leadership in meaningful ways.

How The Framework Is Applied

The framework is integrated into workshops, group projects, speaking exercises, collaborative activities, and reflection sessions. Students are encouraged to share perspectives, solve challenges together, and develop confidence in expressing their ideas respectfully and effectively. Program outcomes and student growth can also contribute to future research and expanded educational initiatives.
